Once The Dinner Bell Rings

So, when I was finishing my project, adding the last of the inking and putting the words in, I kept thinking, "Oh man, what was I thinking, this is so dumb, why did I like this ending, everyone will think the story is so poorly constructed and this character is so one dimensional, this panel is the worst drawn panel in the history of comics oh my god I am such a bad artist."

Then I put up the twenty-six pages of hell and everyone was like "oh my god this is awesome you put so much work into it this story is interesting I wish I had more time than class gave us to look it over"

and I felt better.



In other news I now have to get active in XI again, right in time for app period too, I'm so out of practice with actually initiating stuff and I need more CR aaa

Also why is it that of all the things that I could draw now that I have time to focus on other things, I decide to do gendershuffled Franky and Spin. DERP.

It has been approximately 25 hours since I was last asleep

This is the longest time I can remember being awake.

It was weird, between one and eight o'clock AM, I was feeling surprisingly good. I kept myself going by listening to Let's Plays of terrible Mario games, which provided just enough distraction to keep my mind from wandering too badly, but not so much to make me want to look up from my work all the time. I have fourteen of the pages fully inked, some of them even a little colored.

But there's around ten pages, maybe more, left to finish. I don't expect to be able to finish them today, but god damn it I need to try. But my brain is crashing, and I have so much work left to do in so little time and I have had all quarter to work on this I have no excuse for not doing it sooner but I feel like such crap and I do not own any coffee

I feel like a college student

I have the sneaking suspicion that everyone is doing this meme, but no one is actually asking any questions. Regardless!

You know what's a really lousy feeling? Having this thing that you're really proud of, you think looks really great, and you're really hoping people will appreciate it and like it. And then putting it up, and no one cares. Not just like, bad reviews, but no one comments or seems to notice whatsoever. The realization that what you were really excited about and proud of is just utterly unnoteworthy to everyone else. And this happens several times, in a row.

I guess this is something most people go through, in one thing or another. And I should get used to it, and take advantage of it to cut my ego down. But it really feels like crap.

Whoop whoop, more Edgeworth. Usually I would just not put the game down until it's finished, but I've got work to take care of for class. Only got the second case done today.a

Overall, the game looks like it's off to a good start. Great graphics, characters no less enjoyable than before, and clear evidence of an overarching plot that'll be throughout the game, which we usually don't get.

In other news, Roommate 1 decided to get rid of the mice today. She's... going through a lot of issues right now, and their wheel keeps her up at night. Not helpful to the situation. They were annoying in a lot of ways, but I'm going to miss having the furry little guys around.

I am so glad that there is a small but steady trickle of new EBA fanart to be found. It just makes my day when I check up on these things.

Well, my personal birthday for it didn't come until about six months after, but that doesn't change the fact. I still don't think I'll ever find another game that I'll love as much as this one.
