Brute-forced my way through 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors. I was getting pretty disappointed with myself because apparently I was getting every single bad ending before the good ending... before I found out that the very first ending I got WAS the good ending. However, for it to be completed, they actually require you to unlock one of the other endings (which happened to be the second ending I got.) It took like four days, which is a pretty long time for me on a puzzle game honestly--usually I can power through in a day, but each of the Important Routes took me a day each, and then a lot of messing around with trying to find the other ones. It made me start playing Sudoku again, damn this thing. I might have a Seven muse, because he's awesome. Also, I can't help but find parallels between Seven/Lotus and Franky/Robin, which makes me giggle a little.

Speaking of One Piece, GOOD LORD finally we're getting back to the good stuff. We spent enough time from the crew already, every little bit seems like fresh air. Brook, you silly moron, you ruin everything <3 Though seriously, how the heck did Zoro get caught? Will Franky get to blow something up? Please? Figures it would happen right after the big Second City plot where I don't know what fighting abilities he has. Hurrrrr.

Also speaking of Second City, 4th Wall Day! Never been in a 4th wall thing before... but hopefully it will be fun? Damn, I just need to be more active in general over there =( Franky torture does not excuse all the tags I've been ignoring.

Looks like the Mom Train is already on the verge of coming down. But I can't really blame her when I stay up until 5 in the morning playing 999, sleep until 1 PM, then spend the rest of the waking hours holed in my room. Shaping up to be a fun fun summer.

Happy Birthday, Franky! May you actually get screentime in upcoming chapters.

I had a pretty bleh day in class. For no particular reason other than I really need to start working on this self portrait project. And I hate self portraits. They feel tacky, overdone in every class I've done and also narcissistic. But I get to take pictures of myself, and then make two more pieces out of that. And it just doesn't inspire me in the slightest. Thinking about it put me in a really lousy mood.

Then I came back to my room and saw the new One Piece spoilers and my day got infinitely better

I am easily distracted I guess. In both good and bad ways =\

Oh my god One Piece, what are you even--Franky and Brook's stories are terrifying. Like, Franky's hilarious and badass but also terrifying, because it makes you think, oh my god how did he do all that by himself without any proper tools and it blows my mind to even start figuring it out. I'm a little sad it looks like they're going to make it so he doesn't get credit for the disaster and huge bounty increase, too. And Brook's thing... it's... ugh. So bad. Has this man not had enough to deal with already? Reduced to a circus attraction? It's terrifying DDDD=

Bluh bluh the latest plot at XI drove me nuts for a few days but I'm getting over it. Franky's the only one in the midst of it right now and lord knows he doesn't get bothered by this stuff. But Hajime was freaking out so hard that I actually lost sleep over it--took some brainwashing to calm him down, but now we're both feeling better about it. I can handle this, though I'm still miffed. I'm looking forward to events at 2C, it's been slow enough that I bet lots of people will make this latest stuff interesting.

Finally watching the Very Potter Sequel. It's awesome.

Day 25: A song that makes you laugh


When I was first moving into my dorm and getting used to this state, I kept thinking of this. It made me entertained all the way through.

Day 26: A song that you can play on an instrument


For a few years in middle school, I played the piano, prety much solely for the reason that I was tired of how my sister would play it and then when relatives came over they'd go "OOOOOOH CAITLIN PLAY FOR US ON THE PIANO." This was the last song I learned before my parents got tired of my whining about practicing and stopped paying for lessons. For years I could play it on muscle memory, and it's only been a year or so since I noticed that it finally has vanished for good.

Oh my god the latest One Piece chapter. I was kind of bored with it for the most part because I really don't care about any of these politics things or the Marines (outside of Koby so I did love seeing him spazzing), and then it gets to the Strawhats! Yay! And then...

What the shit, Franky.

I mean, DAMN. That's... ahahah. Wow. GUESS PRESSING THAT BUTTON WAS A MISTAKE HUH? Jeez the more I look at it the creepier it is. And the wierdest part of it isn't the appearance, but... "Forsooth"? Since when did Franky say stuff like "Forsooth"? Did his cola get messed up with the explosion? I mean... seriously, it could be a translation thing, but it's just plain WEIRD.

I went to visit the house my parents are planning on buying, and discovered something interesting: it's up a long, winding path with several streets branching off, with such names as "Taurus Ave," "Virgo Rd," "Capricorn Ave," and Leo and Aquarius ones that I didn't catch the full names of. This house is henceforth known as Alternia House.

Day 07: A song that reminds you of a certain event



The vast majority of Beach Boys songs remind me of once, when I must have been like five years old, when my family went camping, like with a tent and everything, and Dad had us listen to their stuff a lot on the way up--which was fine by us, because who doesn't love the Beach Boys?

I'm starting packing. I'm not leaving until Saturday, but it's very important to get a head start on all this junk. I don't even have that much stuff, but it takes up a lot of space in boxes. My mom mentioned there was a woman who was driving from Washington back down to California, and might be willing to drive some of my stuff down for me, so I also need to figure out if I'll need that service. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing; if I only end up needing a few boxes, would it be easier to just have the woman bring it all down? Though that would be pretty rude. But it seems weird using storage space when I don't have a ton worth storing.

I'm also slightly concerned about the fact that my nerf sword doesn't even come close to fitting in any of the things I have. Damn broadswords.

Speaking of which, the second round of the zombie nerfocalypse was good fun. We had a lot more attendees, and managed to play three games. Humans even won one of them! I'm still sore from all the running around and so forth.

Last of all: One Piece I love you. I love Oda for being the world's biggest troll. And I love him for giving me canon reason to play out Mr. Frank and confuse the school. Now all we need is to have the damn crew back together HNNGH

Argh I wouldn't normally consider a game as freakin huge as Luceti but they have every Strawhat but Franky It is slightly too tempting.

Well, no considering things until Thursday, when this paper's done with. Got 16 pages out of the 20 I've set for myself, going to the writing center tomorrow for some help smoothing out and getting ideas.
