Oooookay I am going to do this thing. I kind of am tempted  to do the video game one as well, but let's be honest, Sarah hasn't played a lot of games. There will be a lot of listing of the same thing over and over. But Digimon and Pokemon? THAT I can do! Drr drr holes and all that.

Day 01: Your Pokemon dream-team?

I am not much of a competitive player. I like a team that's balanced and can hit hard. Also, I have little to no familiarity with the 3rd and 4th gen, so I only use 1 and 2 for the most part.

I like badasses like Scizor, Tyranitar, Arcanine, Starmie, Ampharos, and... I dunno... Hitmonchan, I guess. Plenty of variety and badass-lookingness.

If Pokemon allowed for multiple save files like MILLIONS OF OTHER GAMES DO TODAY JEEEEEEEEEZ, I would love to attempt a playthrough with a team less balanced, for both challenge and certain geeky reasons. But no, I get attached to the team I go through my game with, and I don't like the idea of having to pick one of the other. Boohoo =p

Probably because of people like me who could never restart the game file so... they buy the next/another game. |D;;

What I did for my 'dream team' in my first Pokemon game - FireRed - was:

1. Get starter Pokemon Charmander.

2. Catch no other Pokemon except for the ones that looked totally epic and then leave them in the PC forever more.

3. Train Charmander until he was a Charmeleon that knew Metal Claw.

4. Pwn Brock.

5. Go through a whole frickin' lot to beat Misty with Flamer (my starter's nickname, no shiz :P), but eventually beat her Poke'mon into the ground.

6. Continue process with other trainers and gym leaders, and continue to be confused as to why Flamethrower was 'not very effective...' against Slowpoke yet it would one hit them.

7. Have my sister trade Pokemon from HER game that knew Surf, Strength, etc. then put them in my PC when I didn't need them.

8. Beat Elite Four with Flamer - who was a level 100 Charizard - and a level 40 Fearow that was only there for the extra turn to revive Flamer against Gary's Blastoise.

PWND. xD

In my Emerald Version I had a better idea of type matchups. :P (I did try to get through the game at first with only a Grovyle, though, then I decided it was too hard. xD) The team you posted is really awesome, but I'd probably replace the Starmie with a, um... Tentacruel? -no idea here- Or something like that. I think. xD

And, I completely agree with the great idea of having a Pokemon game with multiple save spots; when I realized you couldn't have more than one, it was a total, "WWWHAAAAAAAT!?" moment, because my sister wanted to play fora bit. x) Besides, would you be able to trade between saved profiles without the possibility of having the other person steal your really good ones? o__o Maybe that's why Game Freak decided against it... -again, no idea- xP
