Glee finalie: Cliched and highly predictable throughout... but still very entertaining to watch.

In MSPA news... god I feel so bad for PM. On every level. It just. The whole situation must be awful for her. If I were more coherent right now I would do a big writeup about it. But I needed to get out something about it. Like, I feel worse for her than the kid who just had to find his friend/sister's dead body, and after that D_M post yesterday my heart was kind of wrenched for him.

secondcityrpg officially has opened the app gates, and Spin's is in. Now I sit back and be excited and hopeful for a week, aaa.

Everything about MSPA is so sad right now. There had better be a happy ending at the end of all this. I'll settle for DD? getting beaten up by baby Bec in the next "hours in the future" segment, though.

Oh man, that realization that you suddenly don't have a microwave is the best part of moving. At least you know it's not there? I bought a bunch of microwaveable food early in my last semester before I realized one of my roommates who had moved out had taken the microwave with him.

A lot of the pots for cooking things are gone too, not that I can actually cook anything. But yeah, at least I can be aware of it and buy some... I dunno... sandwich fixins.

My working theory is that, in the trolls' original timeline, Jade prototyped Bec in a panic after her dreambot exploded. That's what gave Jackspers timey-wimey powers and screwed up everything for the trolls. So they told past-Jade exactly how to avoid that post-explosion panic: Talk to the trolls, who will (presumably) yell at her and tell her why she shouldn't prototype Bec. That's why the trolls can't see past The Rift. It's the beginning of a completely new timeline that hasn't happened yet.

Sandwiches are always a good decision.

Hopefully, this won't be a case of "YOU CAN'T FIGHT FATE" because I always hate those sorts of plotlines. I'm hoping Rose's refusal to play by the rules assists in such matters, because that was awesome.

I think Hussie hates that sort of plotline as much as we do. Rose is now going totally off the chain. (custody of the chain's kids, et cetera.) It's proof enough for me that she has altered the game. Pray she does not alter it further.

I should hope so. After all, he's the guy who loves to blow our minds. It would be pretty damn lame if he went that route. The only problem is, now everyone's sort of expecting him to defy fate... which means he might decide to follow fate... but fate is expected, and... it's a good thing I'm not a robot, or my head would have exploded right there.

Glee continually frustrates me with inconsistent writing and insane characters, but I can't stop watching. I CAN'T STOP. I guess at this point, I mostly watch for the music. And Sue, who has somehow become my favorite character.

OH AND MSPA? EPIC SHIT IS AFOOT, SON. Though I'm still really confused about some things. Like, what is Jack Noir's goal? And I have no idea what deal PM struck or what her deal is. AND WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE PARADOX CLONES

Glee keeps having the potential to do really interesting stuff with its characters, then it's just like "Lol jk" and backtracks with a bunch of development or leave it untouched in favor of more ~romantic drama~, but somehow they still keep it good enough to keep you watching. It is a mystery.

Shit is so real in there, man. I dunno if Jackspers has a goal beyond taking over the world (OF COURSE) and defying the chessbound rules right now... the assumption is he's hoping Jade will prototype Bec, thereby giving him reality-warping powers. And PM just wanted to get that damn box to John, because that was her job as parcel mistress, and in order to get it from Jack she had to give him the White crowns. In other words, all this shit went down because of that box, and she is resentful as hell. And the paradox clones... whelp, basically everyone is related and I think Hussie just wanted to fuck with the Shippers.

I think you hit the nail on the head in terms of Glee. I mean, I knew they set out with the specific purpose of making a sort of surrealistically upbeat sparkle fest, so I'm not expecting a huge ton of depth? But on the same hand, I feel they're playing a little too fast and loose and characters I end up liking or relating to on some level suddenly seem like a different person the next episode, completely unchanged by the previous drama or development.

OKAY, THINGS MAKE MORE SENSE NOW. Somehow. Since Jade is the With of Time or some such, I keep hoping somehow there will be Weird Time Shit wherein her dreamself can be saved. Also, lol, fucking with shippers. I SHIPPED THE KIDS. Looks like I'll have to get my ship crack elsewhere now.

It really is hard to keep up the love for a character when they're written inconsistently. I guess it's an advantage that my favorites are ones that don't get focused on a lot...

Dave's the Knight of Time, Jade's the Witch of Space. Maybe there's some way to bring her back, but considering we just found out all the trolls' dream selves died, I dunno... Ahaha, well at least if you shipped Rose-Dave (like I totally did) or John-Jade, you gotta stop, unless you're cool with incest. Herp derp
