I do not need to know that every one of them has gotten it. Maybe that's why you're having such lag with sending notifications, hmm?

Yeah cuz there's a notif setting for that. GO TURN IT OFF. But the reason you're still getting them after you've turned it off is bc there is a backlogged queue of notifs from BEFORE you turned it off that are left to be sent to you.

I have figured that out since you have told me it three times now Sir and I turned it off after the first thank you but that does not stop me from being annoyed about it because seriously thirty five in a few hours

Man it just annoys me when people bitch @ LJ for things they really can't help 8| Notifs are backed up because they had to roll back a code release and the rollback ended up affecting notifications even though it wasn't one of the systems affected by the code release. It has nothing to do with the volume of notifications being sent out.

It makes the most sense as to why the emails are coming days late. I'm not sure what their planning was in sending these out but I'd rather just get ones sent from friends than these auto-sent ones anyway.
