unijHmmm. Three rounds of unfortunate, with increasingly unhappy events.
1) So I've had this keychain for like a year and a half now. GameStop gave it to you for preordering Apollo Justice. I liked it, so I decided to wear it on a belt loop pretty much every day for the aforementioned year and a half. I didn't even like AJ that much, but it was a nice little stable part of my fashion sense, right? Just something for me to fiddle with and know would be there. Yesterday at the fair, I believe I lost it. I figured it would happen eventually, but it's still sort of sad for me after this long.
2) Today, I took my dog for a very quick walk. I forgot to grab a poop bag, entirely my fault. And since I wanted to keep the walk short, I went on a different route, down a street that I usually bypass. When Kelly does her business and I got no method to clean up with, the resident sees and proceeds to chew me out. Apparently, someone has been not cleaning up after their dog pooping in that same spot nearly daily, and he of course assumes it to be me. I apologize profusely and try to explain that this is a rather one-time sort of event for me, but I don't think he bought it. He gets my name and address out of me, and threatens to call Animal Services if it happens again. The guy's got the right to be mad at me, sure, but if he's calling animal authorities on me for something my dog doesn't do, then what the fuck am I supposed to do about it?
3) Rocketman got blue screen of death'd today. It said I needed to restart to get updates, I go sure, why not. But when it boots back up, a minute or so later, bam. BSoD. Damn, okay, maybe it's a one-timer, try again. Nope. Three times in a row. I've got all sorts of warrantees and whatnot on this guy, so one way or another they should fix it, but this is not the best omen for a brand new lappy.
Man, and yesterday was so good.
