One minute you're in, and the next...

unijOkay anyone who's watched both shows will have come up with this the very instant they watched "Art of the Dress" but my god
I cannot get over how much I want Rarity on Project Runway, holy crap.
I mean, the dresses she made for the Gala were really pretty great. They all had her own flare and great style, and reflected the personality of her clients perfectly.
That being said, wow some of her other stuff has been hilariously tacky. Look at that thing she made for Sapphire Shores, it is gaudy to the extreme, absolutely littered with a million gems. Glitter does not make fashion, girl!
It becomes ever more evident when you see how she knew she was destined to be a fashionista: pasting on some jewels onto a bunch of food costumes. Sure, she's young, but taking your inspiration for what your true talent is from THAT? Hoo boy.
I think Rarity would be the perfect combination of great potential and total disaster for the show. I can imagine the judges now...
"I question your taste level."
"It's important to have an editing eye."
"Look at that thing, it's like a dragon's lair barfed onto it!"
Ohhh, and the DRAMA she would cause would be great for TV, can you imagine the panic attacks she'd have if she ever ended up in the bottom two? And as kind a person as she is, she gets snippy when under pressure, which will lead to other contestants thinking poorly of her, and... ooh boy.
I think this needs to be a fic. Or someone needs to draw the judges as ponies. This started as just me ranting about the two shows together but aaaa
