All right, now that all the guys are back together, posing as a team because shit is so real, I better be like the cool kids and talk about the One Piece Time Skip.

The thing that probably entertains me the most is the big middle finger given to all the people who thought Luffy and Hancock would be together now. Luffy's got no time for that shit! You want it, go to Dragon Ball Z, bitches! God I love you Oda.

I genuinely don't understand the whining about little cosmetic changes in the cast. Who cares if Nami grew her hair out, or if Sanji's eyebrow is asymmetrical? Doesn't affect anything. I'm mostly glad that the characters have overall proven themselves to be totally still themselves.

Of course, then I get a little put off by Chopper's singular change, the hat, simply because, well, the whole point of the hat was its sentimental value. Unless there is some sort of flashback revealing why he replaced it, I will be suspicious of this new garment.

The one thing that makes me go 'hmmm' about Zoro is the apparent adopting of Mihawk's poetry-like way of speaking, because it just feels a little weird coming out of the guy we've known since chapter 3. The fact that he went immediately from the froofy language to "I got on the wrong ship >(" gives me hope, though, so... C'mon, Oda, make a believer out of me.

Also as an avid supporter of hot man chest let me say I approve of the new Usopp 100%. Also I giggle to think of all the people who now ship him and Nami's oversized chest.

I find Brook's last two years to be something a bit bizarre and fascinating. It definitely gives a pretty stark contrast to the previous fifty years, and hilarious to boot. Looking at the Fake!Hats, it reminds me that no one actually KNEW that Brook was on their team save for people who interacted with them directly on Sabondy two years ago. It should make a very interesting shift in how people react to seeing him with them.

Franky's change, of course, is pretty damn jarring. Good lord, cyborg-bro, you just don't give a shit what people think, do you? And that's why I love you. Because you're awesome. It will definitely take time to get used to, because seriously ARM ANATOMY DOES NOT GO LIKE THAT AAA but it's Franky and I will assuredly adjust soon enough. That scene was admittedly hilarious because it was just so... so... completely, unabashedly Franky. It's like Robin says... he never changes |D

I was one of the people who decided to be a weenie and sleep inside the cabin instead of in a tent proper... and all the people who slept in tents apparently woke up wet, cold, and very eager to spend the second night sleeping in the cabin |D I survived well enough and the shower afterwards was soooo rewarding.

I don't call that being a weenie. I call that being smart, having survival skills, and a good move since you've been sick. =|

Brook's timeskip is simultaneously the most bizarre, unexpected, hilarious, and utterly badass thing what is this I don't even. I saw someone suggest that at least one enemy crew they meet in the future will have some completely apeshit Brook fangirl/fanboy aboard and hilarity will ensue, and now I absolutely hope this happens.

Honestly I bet that is exactly how things will go down and if Oda doesn't do it then he better oneup that in the most epic manner possible.

She needs to at least attempt the theft of all that money he's made and probably doesn't have the sense to care about.

If Brook actually did start giving a genuine crap about his money then something would have gone horribly wrong
