unij: YOU BET KID (Pesterchumming)

I have the sneaking suspicion that everyone is doing this meme, but no one is actually asking any questions. Regardless!

Ask me a question about RPing. It can be absolutely anything (OOC thoughts, pet peeves, IC plans, characters I play) and I will tell you the honest-to-god answer. Don’t hold back. Whatever you ask, I will try my best to answer.

*GASP*

I should ask if you miss Paixao at all, but instead I will ask your opinion on "shipping." :3 Because I'm curious, given your wariness about such things in your personal life!

I still stalk Paixao a bit, just glancing through to see what posts are, but not really reading much in detail.

I have never gotten my characters really into a ship, though I really would like to; one way or another, something has always gotten in the way of one really happening in-game. The few times someone has shared a ship with me, their character is kind of already in a relationship, whoops. I think character development and having a realistic relationship is more important than doing it just because you want to. I think that may come across in the playing as characters just not being all that shippable in some ways, which maybe puts some people off? idk.

Also because I am, in fact, an all-around noob with such things people would have to be chill with me having no idea what I'm doing =D;;

I know you said DC was your first fandom game and that you played OC games before that.

So, tell me about your OCs! Who's your favourite and what are they like?

Haha, memories. Back in the Gaia Online days, there was a group of us who basically played with each other exclusively for around four years. There were a lot of different games we came up with, so it's hard to remember all the characters. I'll stick with the two who lasted longest.

First was was Lay, an anthro-type character I designed before I knew what furries were. He was pretty much your typical badass quiet type, a bounty hunter who could talk to animals.
Another one I was fond of was Amleth, who was the Pig Who Built His House Of Straw. He was timid, paranoid, frightened, and all around beat-down. It was a ton of fun to slowly build up his strength through the plot of the game.

Amleth sounds really interesting! What was the story around the game you played him in? How did his character-building arc go?

The idea of it was that the characters in fairy tales had to pretty much live their stories over and over. The Wolf was tired of being the bad guy who always got killed, The Prince was sick of shallow princesses, Red Riding Hood was totally over the damsel in distress thing, and Amleth was sick of living in fear while his brother got to be the smart one. Our characters had finally gotten sick of it, and decided to make an attempt to make their own destinies.

So while they're venturing and trying to do that, evil folk like The Evil Witch or some other Wolves show up and harass them. Amleth was pretty much the weakest of the group by far, so he got his ass handed to him a few times. He had to buck up and gain some courage to support his friends. By the end, it was coming to a final battle where their refusal to fulfill their roles was kind of destroying the storydimension and it was gonna be pretty cool, but the activity petered out before it could get finished.

That whole concept sounds super awesome and like a hell of a lot of fun! Sadface that it never got the chance to finish 8(

It really was a lot of fun, and it got a lot more detailed and expansive than most of the other stuff we ran with, which is probably why we managed to keep it going so long. It would have been great to finish it off, but what we did manage was totally worth it.

Are you better with writing your characters' journals or just log posts?

I enjoy both, but I definitely do more with log posts. I mean, the thing is I like to save the log posts for when my characters actually feel like they have something worthwhile to say, while in logs they can just be like "doop doop wandering around running into people." It's actually been a while since any of them did a Journal post, I should look into that when I get of hiatus...

If your muses got into a free-for-all fight, who would win?

If your muses got into a free-for-all fight and didn't care about hurting people, who would win?

... I can't think of a serious question at the moment.

Hmm, in the first, it would likely be either Fawful or Franky, because Fawful already has no hangups about hurting the dumb finkrats, and while Franky does have some small amount of reservations, he wouldn't mind going after that tiny annoying green kid. Considering that Franky's got the brute strength along with tactical knowhow that could match Fawful's, I'm going to give it to the cyborg. *pose*

Considering how the OTO and EBA muses can't really fight much already, they still wouldn't have much of a chance even if they weren't holding back. I think the only real difference would be Katsuya would make it into the finals, considering he's smart, tough, skilled with a gun and can also summon demons. I think that last bit would tip the scales in his favor.
