You know what sucks? Not knowing the bus routes very well, and also not having enough small bills for fare.

You know what's awesome? Strangers who are totally willing to help pay for fare. I LOVE YOU NICE STRANGERS <3

I spent pretty much the whole time in the exhibition hall, which is normal for me and conventions. I didn't get all the swag I wanted--lines for some of the more popular booths were incredibly slow, man--but I am pleased with the results. Kate Beaton is a very cute, sweet-seeming young woman, and Hussie was decidedly much more gangly and awkward than I expected, but very cool.

Bus routes are confusing period. I only know one/two, and it's changed at least twice since I started riding it. ._.

I am still in wow that you got to meet Kate Beaton. I love her comics.

Yeah, I've really rarely used them back home, and am really only getting used to a couple in the area. Is complicated ._.

The line to meet her was long, but she seemed really happy about it all =D my friend wanted me to buy her a fat pony figurine but they were fifty dollars and that is too much. I got her book, though!

I did see him briefly but did not get to actually talk to him.

The funny thing was I just hear this guy talking behind me with someone else and I look over and I knew exactly who he was even though I've only seen his cartoons of himself

I guess they're accurate cartoons

Or he just exudes that special aura of Greenness

lmfao I've seen some of his con photos and his cartoon representations are so spot on.

You really don't see enough of that. Complete win <3 This made me all warm and fuzzy inside.
