COLLEGE SO FUN

yamikonumber7 remember how earlier you were like "man your campus is a techbane"? Yeah well. Shortly after you said that, the whole freaking college had a blackout.
People who were in classes didn't have too much of an issue, some people apparently didn't even hear about it until after the fact, but in the apartments the lights didn't just go out. Oh no. For some unknown reason, some sort of high-pitched siren went off in all the fuseboxes. I have no idea why. Oh, and our apartment is the one closest too our building's fusebox. Fun times.
Anyway, it got fixed up in like half an hour. And I got to meet a cute puppy anyway because I decided to walk around =D
The first real-real meeting of GRAS was today; usually meetings are Wednesday and Saturday, don't know why they did it today instead. Apparently Wednesday are "Sub" days, where we watch lesser-known anime with subtitles: Last Exile, GTO, and Gundam (I forget which one, it was old though). Saturdays are "Dub" days, with more popular dubs that most avid animelovers will already have watched: Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, something else idk. Dunno how much I'll like any of the shows, but it seems like a decent crowd of clubgoers. There's one girl who's kind of the dorky cliche, wearing a Yugioh shirt and a Naruto jacket and calling some character 'smexy' in all seriousness, but she seems like a really nice person and I should stop being a judgemental jerk.
God that puppy was cute.

*not going to either of the first two anime club meeting/screenings at my school* Something I hadn't heard of but wasn't particularly interested in judging by description, and Hetalia.
Cowboy Bebop I have never heard people say bad things about. I've only seen a few episodes though. Hopefully you'll like that one at least!

Yeah, everyone I've spoken to has the tendency to spaz out over how amazing Cowboy Bebop is, so I figure it'll be worth showing up. I also have the advantage of not taking myself too seriously and being horrified at the idea of an anime with english dubs omigawwwwwwwww
